This Privacy Policy explains what information MirRehab collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1 Camera & on-device tracking
MirRehab uses your device camera to track limb movement and score your rehabilitation exercises.
2 Information we collect
- Account: your email, or the name and email from Google/Apple sign-in, plus a unique user identifier.
- Progress: XP, level, repetitions, sessions, streaks, and session history (exercise, limb, reps, points, date).
- Leaderboard: your display name, level, and XP are shown publicly to other users.
- Optional media: progress photos you choose to upload are stored in your account.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, HealthKit records, advertising identifiers, or browsing history.
3 How we use information
- Authenticate you and keep you signed in.
- Save and sync your progress across launches and devices.
- Show history, badges, levels, streaks, and leaderboards.
- Maintain, secure, and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
4 Third-party services
MirRehab uses Google Firebase for sign-in, storage, and leaderboards (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Storage), along with Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple. These are also governed by Google's and Apple's privacy policies.
5 Storage & security
Data is stored on Google Firebase, tied to your account identifier, and protected by authentication and security rules so each account accesses only its own data (the public leaderboard name, level, and XP are the intentional exception). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6 Retention & deletion
We keep your data until you delete it. You can delete your account and data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account), or by contacting us. Deletion removes your progress, history, leaderboard entry, and uploaded media, except where retention is required by law.
7 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also revoke camera access anytime in your device Settings.
8 Children's privacy
MirRehab is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If a minor uses the app for rehabilitation, a parent, guardian, or clinician should supervise and manage the account.
